After recovering from a salty mood over his Grammy snub, Miguel vowed to work harder and here we see the fruits of his labor as he relinquishes “Adorn“, the first cut from his forthcoming project, Art Dealer Chic, Vol. 1 (Feb. 27).

“Adorn” sails with a modern, simple, yet effective spacey production, but ascends with searing 80s soul-tinged vocals- comparable to Marvin Gaye’s 1982 cut, “Sexual Healing“.

“The visual for “Adorn” is the projection of a dream I recently had,” Miguel says. “I wanted to use simple creative elements in a symbolic way to communicate the intense desire to understand its meaning.”

Once again, R&B is not playing around this year.
