Chris Brown continues proving major media outlets right–he is violent, ignorant and belligerent. He decides to rap on Game’s remix to Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like.” On the track, the 23-year-old taunts Drake, who hasn’t mentioned the Club W.i.P. situation since it happened, by calling him a “p*ssy nigga” with eyebrows that make you go ‘yikes’. Jay-Z and Beyoncé will be among the guests at tomorrow’s 2012 BET Awards. Last month, Bey performed a medley of “I Will Always Love You” and “Halo” at her Revel concert. Could she be included in the tightlipped Whitney Houston tribute? It would only be right, considering she’s the “best performer in the world.”
Kelly Rowland isn’t the only songstress banking on Lil’ Wayne to help score a hit. Hood girl next door, Keyshia Cole, will mark her return with “Enough of No Love,” which features the Young Money rapper. Justin Bieber and Justin Timberlake are white Pop&B singers that share the same forename, but the similarities end there–according to Bieber.
In a recent interview on Mojo in the Morning, a crass personality recited the story of when he was introduced to Justin’s “Boyfriend.” Like many, he said the record was reminiscent of something Timberlake would rehash from Prince or Michael. The interviewer attempted to shield his insulting undertone by saying it was actually a compliment, but the 18-year-old had on smoke and mirror-proof goggles that morning.
“That’s funny because our voices sound nothing alike,” Justin retorted. “Saying I sound like somebody else is definitely not a compliment.”
The incompetent interviewer then brought up a cougar chaser in One Direction and Justin’s mom. Justin clapped back and eventually hung up the phone. Apparently the ratings (and credibility) over at Mojo are worse than those at CNN. Read More
Austrailian dance show host, Kelly Rowland, just made the summer much cooler with her scorching “Motivation” rehash, “Ice,” crafted by Sean Garrett. It even features Lil’ Wayne, who isn’t heard on the snippet but is expected to rap: “Ice Ice baby shake that thing just like dice baby.”
Like J. Lo, K. Ro isn’t taking any chances by veering out and doing something superbly unpredictable. She’s content with manufacturing uninspiring, yet pleasurable, R&B records. Read More
