Upon the release of Rihanna‘s latest album, Talk That Talk, fans instantly gravitated to track number 6, “Birthday Cake.” To much dismay, the raunchy song was only a little over a minute long. However, The-Dream revealed there would be a full-length version in due time.

Prior to her birthday, Rihanna announced she would be releasing an extended version of “Birthday Cake,” and she wanted to add a male contributor on the record. Many expected it to be 2Pac, considering Rihanna’s sudden interest in the “thug life.” After the producers said the remix would ‘shock the world’, most were convinced Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend Chris Brown would lace the track.

Being the controversial, media-hungry duo we’ve always known them to be, they followed through with the remix. Today is her birthday, and Rihanna is serving cake to everyone.

“Remember how you did it? Remember how you fit it? If you still wanna kiss it, then come… and get it,” Rihanna sings.
