Kelly Rowland Changes Album Title To Fit Sex-Driven Subject Matter

Kelly Rowland has changed the name of her fourth album from Year of the Woman to Talk a Good Game (or Talk of the Game?). She says the name change came about after she condensed 50 songs and realized it told another story than what she anticipatd for ‘Woman’.

Rowland, who was best dressed at the Grammys, says the album is intimate and contains smutty lyrics like most of her recent work.

It’s unfortunate such a talent has been reduced to a second-rate sexpot that is best known for churning out second-rate sex anthems. At least listeners can revisit the impressive Simply Deep and daydream about what could have been.

I must say I strongly disagree with your catch phrase "Kelly Rowland is determined to be a slut". That is a bit rude and very offensive. Kelly Rowland wants to be noticed, I admit she might be going about it in the obscure way and that with her overtly sexy nature she'll probably get called names.

Additionally, Simply Deep didn't get her the recognition she wanted and as an artist she should be free to sing whatever she feels comfortable in. At least she's not walking around taking half nude pictures of herself to get attention. She's simply being sexy.

Excuse me; those were a poor choice of words. What I meant was 'Kelly Rowland is determined to be perceived as a slut'.
      Name calling? Eh…
She came out of a successful urban pop girl group and put out an adult contemporary/R&B album; of course the recognition would be wavering.
You're right; she can sing about whatever she wants, and I will respond how I see fit.
At least she's not what? http://leathergirlsblog.com/wp-content/Kelly-Rowl

If the songs are good, I'm here for it. If done right, "intimate" music can be as timeless as any other concept of R&B. In fact, at the crux of R&B is intimacy..that's the gist of it. And besides, Rowland's a huge fan of Janet Jackson………Miss Jackson if…..
