Fabolous flew to Dominican Republic to have Chris Brown outshine him in his video for “Ready.” Chris, clad in Samurai Jack gear, added authentic youthfulness to the video. While scenes of him dancing before a stunning landscape flashed by, 35-year-old Fabolous’ freshly cut hair helped him swoon the maid.

The song and accompanying video are both quite good, though. However, it’s not a good look for a mature artist like Fab to be upstaged by a younger artist. Maybe he should consider working with artists like Joe, Teddy Riley or Keith Sweat in the future.
