Beyoncé Signs Another Multi-Million Dollar Pepsi Deal
Beyoncé’s 4 did not perform as planned, commercially, so the hyphenated icon is making sure that album number five will be backed by a historic campaign.
In addition to her Super Bowl Half-Time show and HBO documentary, Bey has booked a 2-hour, $4 million New Years’ Eve gig in Las Vegas, according to Executive VP of Wynn Luis Alberto Sadalla. Also, she has signed another multi-million dollar Pepsi partnership.
“Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,” Beyoncé said in a statement released to the NY Times. “As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”
Included in the $50 million campaign are limited-edition soda cans with her face imprinted on them (seen above), a TV ad (Beyoncé’s fifth Pepsi commercial since 2002), life-size cardboard cutouts of photo-shoot images (including the one above where she pushes the shopping cart) that will be placed in stores and more.
Amazing! This is business as usual for the Knowles-Carter clan, though.
