T-Pain is milking this auto-tune thing for all it is worth. The Tallahassee entertainer popularized the obvious use of auto-tune late last decade when he hit the scene with the summer jam, “I’m Sprung”, in 2005. The 26-year old who is celebrating his birthday today has another reason to toast now that his I Am T-Pain toy microphone is in stores, following his 2009 iPhone app of the same name.

Tyrese is smooth on the recently-revealed cover of his forthcoming album, Open Invitation. The soul-ridden singer is coasting off of two released singles, “Too Easy Ft. Ludacris” and “Stay“, which boasts a feature from his Baby Boy-opposite, Taraji P. Henson, in the Matt Alonzo-directed visual.
In the artwork, the bedside puff of his cigar, tailored and debonair attire, and lady of the evening lying asleep suggests to us that this album will embody the classic material we’ve associated with Tyrese since his 1998 music debut.
The Watts-native is heightening the anticipation of his release with “The Rest Of Our Lives“, a double-version track lifted from the album that sees Brandy and Melanie Fiona facing off.
Open Invitation is schedule for release on November 1.
