9-year old ice skater Starr Andrews gave a performance that is sure ot catapult her career. She performed to the highly infectious “Whip My Hair†sung by Willow Smith. Starr has her sights set on making it to the Olympics and winning a gold medal. I’m sure the amazing talent will surpass her goals. Watch the performance above.
The talented soulful crooner Bruno Mars’ second single “Grenade†explodes at number 1. This marks Bruno’s second consecutive number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He’s the first male artist in over 13 years to accomplish this feat. In case you didn’t know, Diddy, then known as Puff Daddy, was that artist. According to Nielsen Soundscan, “Grenade†shifted over 559,000 downloads courtesy of the post-Christmas period. Bruno expressed his gratitude via Twitter:

It is being reported that Roc Nation CEO Jay-Z has signed X-Factor runner-up Cher Lloyd to his rising empire. Apparently Will.i.am was also trying to sign the young starlet. If these reports are true, the direction of her career will be interesting.
As expected, Chris Brown became the butt (no pun intended) of his own jokes by apologizing to his recent actions. Many interpreted, or spun, his Twitter rant against Raz-B to be homophobic. Personally, I don’t think he has a negative feelings toward the gay community; a button was pushed and he retaliated by attacking what has plagued Raz-B’s life as of late.

Oscar and Grammy award winning J Records recording artist Jamie Foxx released his new album Best Night of My Life on December 21st. To commemorate the occasion, Jamie held an album listening session and Q&A at the Samsung Experience in NYC. Presented by Digiwax, J Records, and Power 105.1, the event was of heavy industry associates and friend’s of Jamie. The Breakfast Club (DJ Envy, Angela Yee & C. Tha God) spoke with Jamie about the creation of the LP and other things.
