I don’t know where to start with this ambitious artist…she’s like the female Andre 3000 with a splash of Cee-Lo. I listen to Janelle Monáe, and I’m mesmerized by her creativity. She’s a breath of fresh air.

Video: Eminem & Rihanna “Love The Way You Lie”

Eminem released his #1 hit featuring Rihanna last night. The video is filled with emotion from a tumultuous couple played by Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan. I interpreted the song as a woman loving her abuser, and from the depiction I was accurate. The video is POWERful. I can see where critics may argue that it sends the wrong message about domestic violence, but the unfortunate reality is that is a real couple. Read More »
