iAmBoiGenius.com is one of the many digital voices covering Rap, R&B and Pop music. Although our identity is distinctive among our peers, we’re looking to become a prominent voice of Hip Hop/Pop culture.

We’re currently seeking interns to consistently contribute daily posts (music, videos, interviews, etc.) and editorial articles. If you’re an ambitious, witty, culturally savvy writer, this may be a good opportunity for you.

What do we expect from an iABG Contributor (“Smart Ass Critic”)?

• Familiarity with iABG.com. We pride ourselves on our informative, conversational and humorous writing style. Sarcastically honest, in depth opinions are welcomed. “Listen to Kendrick Lamar’s new song” is prohibited, embarrassing and insulting.
• Knowledge of writing/blogging. I’m not an English guru, but basic knowledge of spelling, grammar and syntax is required. Plagiarism is prohibited. Citing is essential.
• Ambition. Having a genuine interest for writing is of utmost importance. Readers are able to discern whether or not the piece piqued your interest.

• Do you know the difference between effect/affect, compliment/complement and lie/lay?
• A catchy headline about your favorite artist releasing a new song (Can be hypothetical)

• Best Rap, R&B and Pop Albums Released in the Past 5 years (Name one of each)
• A brief (75-100 words) post about ‘What is missing from black blogs’
