T.I. & Lil’ Wayne ‘Ball’ In The Hood [Video Teaser]

T.I. traveled west to Lil’ Wayne’s stomping grounds–a land where block parties are plentiful and it’s perfectly normal for women to dry their hair outside with industrial machines–to film his video for “Ball,” a single from his Trouble Man (12/18) album.

Video: Gucci Mane ‘Truth’ (Young Jeezy Diss)

It has been less than 24 hours since Gucci Mane caught wind of Young Jeezy calling him “retarded,” and he has already released a diss song–that he claims is the “Truth”–accompanied by a video. “Guwap,” Gucci’s nickname, has also taken to Twitter to berate Jeezy and include T.I. in their on-going feud.

Listen: T.I. Ft. Lil’ Wayne ‘Ball’

T.I. is blindly fishing for a hit, as indicated by his random selection of singles leading up to the release of his Trouble Man LP. His latest is the Lil’ Wayne-assisted “Ball,” which sounds like a scrap from Wayne’s Dedication 4.

“Shake it like a dog, hop like a frog, ride it like a horse,” raps the man who kissed a Stevie J look-alike in the mouth. “I throw that d*ck like darts, drink all muddy, flag all bloody, I’m killing these hoes like Ted Bundy.”

Despite Wayne’s disrespectful and mediocre verse, the Rico Love and Earl & E-produced track is one of the better releases from Trouble Man (due out 12/16).

T.I. Speaks On R. Kelly & A$AP Rocky Collaborations

2012-BET-Hip-Hop-Awards-Cypher-Crew

The Cyphers are the most exiting thing about the BET Hip Hop Awards. Various crews show off their lyrical talents in a grimy area. 2012 housed crews such as Grand Hustle, West Coast and Ruff Ryders. Watch each cypher below and let me know which was your favorite.

2012 BET Hip Hop Awards: Performances [Recap]

2012-BET-Hip-Hop-Awards

The 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards were recorded a few weeks ago in Atlanta and aired nation-wide last night. Wiz Khalifa opened the show with “Work Hard, Play Hard” and brought out Rick Ross’ good friend Young Jeezy and Taylor Gang affiliate Juicy J. Hippies and gangstas can indeed coexist.

Meek Mill turned the Civic Center into a church, kind of. It was a congregation of sorts, but I doubt anything spiritual was involved in his performance of “Amen.” He brought out fellow newcomer Kirko Bangz for “Young & Gettin’ It.”

Kendrick Lamar may be a sublime lyricist but performing isn’t his forte (most of the acts lack this specialty actually). The nappy-headed, non-voter failed to move the crowd with “The Recipe” and “Swimming Pools (Drank).”

T.I. Rescued Scott Stapp Of Creed After Suicide Attempt

If you have plans on taking your life, make sure real-life hero T.I. is nowhere near the sight.

Creed’s frontman, Scott Stapp, revealed to VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live that the “Live Your Life” performer saved his life during a drug binge. While in a penthouse of Miami’s Delano Hotel, the “With Arms Wide Open” rocker jumped over the balcony and fell 40 feet, where he laid for two and a half hours. His “guardian angel” T.I. showed up and “took care of the situation and saved [his] life.”

Scott shares more details regarding the traumatic story in his memoir, Sinner’s Creed.

In 2010, T.I.was in route to a video shoot. He talked a man off a 22-story building and told him “Nothing is that bad. Nothing in life is worth taking your life.”

Video: B.o.B Ft. Chris Brown & T.I. ‘Arena’

BoB Strange Clouds Album Cover

B.o.B has released a visual for “Arena,” a riveting song featuring Chris Brown & T.I.. It’s the fifth single from Bobby Ray’s second album, Strange Clouds, which was released in May. The clip starts at the ground level of an arena and works its way up to the top as Dr. Luke and Cirkut triumphant production pounds in the background. Simple yet effective.
