According to TMZ, the L.A. County District Attorney has overruled the drug case against T.I. because of legalities of the case. Due to the fact that his arrest was warranted with probable cause, which ulitmatley violates his probation, T.I. will still have to do the 11 months in prison.
WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT IS THAT? His charges are dropped but because he was arrested while on probation he’s going back to jail? For 11 months nontheless…. WTF
This all stems from T.I. and Tiny’s arrest back on September 1st.
Following his sentencing, T.I. has lost two major endorsements: AXE and Remy Martin Cognac.
AXE rep: “We will no longer feature T.I. in our promotional campaign”
Remy Martin rep: Sometimes the “road to redemption†is a difficult path. Regrettably, we will not be able to continue collaborating with T.I. at this time.  We wish T.I. well and hope he will devote his time and energy to staying the course.
When it comes to rich black people and the police, everything is haywire. So I don’t know what to believe. One concise notion of Kanye’s Runaway was:
“First thing you learn in this world, baby — don’t pay attention to anything you see on the news.”
T.I. is turning himself in on November 1st. Damn.

Last week, BET made a list of the top rappers of the 21st century. I didn’t watch the airing, but I did read up on the recap on BET.com. As I’ve been told countless times, I’m not a “Hip-Hop Head”, nor do I claim to be one, but I have my own opinions on the aforementioned list. I won’t go in depth with the technicalities because it could get long winded.
Check out argument below.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this song is released on the same day T.I. has been sentenced to 11 months in prison. T.I. asked for leniency:
“I screwed up,” said Harris, wearing a three-piece gray suit. “I screwed up bigtime, and I’m sorry. I’m truly and sincerely sorry. I don’t want and I don’t need to use drugs anymore. I want them out of my life.” -AJC
but obviously it wasn’t given to him. Yea I know he made a stupid mistake, again, but as he says in the song, he’s only human. A human that recently saved the life of another human. Hopefully he gets out sooner.
Check out the Chris Brown assisted track that’s included on the King’s new album, King Uncaged.

T.I. called into 107.9 and talked to the Durrtty Boyz about his role in helping save the suicidal man earlier this evening (Oct. 13).
“No matter how bad it seems right now man, it get better…”
“God did all the work…all I did was show up and asked the officials could I be beneficial”
The King also addresses the irrational people I spoke of earlier.
“how can I plan this? I don’t even understand how someone in a clear thinking mind could even preposterousalize such hoppycop”
Despite whatever T.I. is going through in his personal life, salute him appreciating his celebrity and using it for a greater good.

While driving home, pissed-off about a test I had taken earlier, some guy less than 10 miles away was contemplating on jumping off a 22-story building. I was listening to V103 and they announced that T.I. came to the scene to try and talk the 22 year old black man down. Apparently, hearing his name alone was enough to get him off the ledge.
Check out the story below.
Trey Songz was aiming for a club song with “Freaky Dance”, but it falls short in my opinion. It’s just a lil too corny for me. And Swizz, “All the ladies on the floor with the real hair…”. Really? T.I. doesn’t add much flare to this song either.
What do you do when you have the #1 movie in America and you do something senseless…perform a song called “Motivation“! More updates on the 2010 Bonnie & Clyde situation below.
Here at I Am Boi Genius, I commend myself on not posting the idiocracy found at many other blog sites…but this new tom foolery deserves everyone’s attention. Clifford “T.I.” Harris and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were arrested on drug charges… I’m going to let that marinate. T.I., who was just released from a halfway house in March, has another senseless charge; and yet again, his now wife, Tiny was with him. Do they think they’re the modern day Bonnie and Clyde? What sense does this make? T.I. who made a pledge to attempt to change the viewpoint of youth one being at a time has failed miserably once again. Yes all humans make mistakes, but he proposed that he had learned from his. During a routine traffic stop by West Hollywood police, T.I. and Tiny were pulled over. The cops allegedly smelled the marijuana smoke coming from the Maybach. They both were charged for possession of a controlled substance. (methamphetamines and ecstasy) The bail was set at $10,000.
