Kid Cudi has a deep appreciation for himself and his craft. Apparently he wants to release alt-Hip Hop songs and still enjoy the success of a rapper that releases radio-friendly songs. Like several rants before, he took to Twitter to vent about the inverse relationship between his song’s online play-count and radio spins. “King Wizard” even threatened his label that “there’s gonna be some problems” if some form of action isn’t taken.

Kid Cudi Is Still Ranting About His Unsupportive Label
Kid Cudi Releases Self-Directed ‘King Wizard’ Video
Kid Cudi strolls down a dark, lonely road in the video for “King Wizard,” a song from “the greatest album ever made,” Indicud. Like “Just What I Am,” the “King Wizard” video, which he directed himself, had some hypothetical Instagram video-hosting border-type thing going on.
Kid Cudi Announces Kendrick Lamar & Common Collaboration
If you follow Kid Cudi on Twitter, I’m sure you’re aware that he’s more than excited about his forthcoming solo album, Indicud. Rihanna Poses Nude For GQ + Talks Mariah Carey Inspiration On ‘Ellen’
Rihanna gets (mostly) naked for yet another publication. This time it’s for popular men’s magazine GQ. They recognize her as the “Obsession of the Year,” which is quite fitting. Every breath she takes is documented, and everything she does is replicated. In the issue, she spoke on how business vultures view her and how she views herself.
“Sometimes a person looks at me and sees dollars. They see numbers and they see a product. I look at me and see art. If I didn’t like what I was doing, then I would say I was committing slavery.”

Kid Cudi may be off the water pipes, but he’s still making trippy music fit for a stoner’s club. Cudder has premiered the video for the King Chip-assisted, “Just What I Am.” Not only did he self-produce the record, but he directed the visual as well. If Instagram had a video-hosting sister, this video would be one featured on the outlet.
Listen: Kid Cudi ‘King Wizard’
Hear ye, Hear ye! A Kid named Cudi has a valiant assertion he wishes to proclaim. “Mark my words, INDICUD will be the greatest album ever made. Know that I’m not lying.”
The man on the moon self-produced his entire forthcoming LP, so the overly self-assuredness is to be expected. Of course I can’t cosign Cudders’ claims–I haven’t heard the album–but if “King Wizard” is any indication of what is to be expected of Indicud, it will indeed be a fascinating album.
Watch: Hit-Boy Ft. KiD CuDi ‘Old School Caddy’
Hit-Boy offers a visual interpretation for “Old School Caddy,” a song from his debut album HITstory. The video takes place in the desert, where Hit-Boy is seen leaving a diner with two lovely ladies. Kid Cudi soon joins the picture and comically recites his verse. Topshelf Junior directed the “old-school” clip.
‘Cruel Summer’ Pushed Back To Fall?
Yes, it has been pushed back–three days prior to Fall, though.
According to FSD, G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer has been pushed back from its September 4th release date to September 18th. Two weeks isn’t so cruel and unusual punishment, right?
Listen: Kid Cudi Ft. King Chip ‘Just What I Am’
Kid Cudi releases “Just What I Am,” a cut that Cudi produced that will appear on indicud. He describes the LP as his version of The Chronic 2001. King Chip, formerly known as Chip Tha Ripper, is featured on the track.

Hit-Boy offers a 30-second teaser for his new Kid Cudi-assisted single, “Old School Caddy,” the follow-up to the well-received “Jay-Z Interview.” Topshelf Junior directed the vintage clip. He said Outkast’s Aquemini inspired the record.
