Cher Lloyd Makes US TV Debut On ‘America’s Got Talent’; Snoop Dogg Remixes ‘Want U Back’
British sensation Cher Lloyd invited her quirky mannerisms onstage as she performed “Want U Back” on America’s Got Talent. Her set was complete with an ice cream parlor containing a bar with people dancing on top. It was appropriate dancing for an 18-year-old’s set.
“Want U Back” is quickly storming up Billboard Hot 100. After five weeks, it has reached an all-time high at No. 16. Snoop Dogg has added a clean and yawn-inducing verse on the remix of the spunky single. Her debut album, Sticks & Stones, is due out on September 18th.

Take the shackles from your mind and relinquish from your soul (containing what the white man stole), chants Stephen Marley – in so many words. He matches the thematic sound with classic black-and-white African newsreel footage and shots of present-day Ethiopia. Wale, who isn’t in the video, contributes a verse, and the cast of Fela! sings the hook. “Made in Africa” appears on Stephen’s Grammy-winning LP, Revelation Part 1: The Root of Life.

Cher Lloyd Premieres “Want U Back” Video Ft. Astro
Cher Lloyd plays the whimsical she-devil in the video for “Want U Back Ft. Astro“, the third single from her debut album, Sticks + Stones. The track was written by Shellback and Savan Kotecha, and it was produced by Shellback.
The 18-year old English-native hopes to crack the American market with the cut, which will actually serve as the first single from the U.S. release of the album, due out later this year. Astro is featured in the quirky visual, largely due to the fact that he’s expected to sign with Epic Records, L.A. Reid’s label - where Lloyd is signed herself.

Cher Lloyd Talks Working With The Runners & RedOne
Newly redheaded Pop-singer Cher Lloyd is hard at work on her debut album, which has an August 22, 2011, release date. Thus far, she has recorded songs with The Runners, RedOne, and other high profile producers.

Cher Lloyd collabs with Lil’ Wayne?
17 year old UK talent Cher Lloyd twitpic’d a photo of her and Hip-Hop titan Lil’ Wayne in the studio, presumably recording together. The X-Factor reject is gearing up for a huge debut. A new artist having collaborations with Will.i.am and RedOne, and a connects with the “genius” Weezy, her meteoric rise is imminent. According to TGJ, “the LP will be released later this year via Syco/Sony Music, as opposed to Roc Nation/Sony Music as first reported.”
