While in Belfast, Ireland, Rihanna filmed the video for “We Found Love,” the lead single from her upcoming album Talk That Talk. Frequent collaborator Melina is responsible for the direction, while Tanisha Scott handles the choreography.
In the video, the Bajan beauty explains how she will “f*ck” rumored boyfriend Dudley O’Shaughnessy, who is the only heterosexual man that wants nothing to do with Rihanna romantically, on a car. She also speaks on the significance of the video.
“We’ve never done a video like this before. This is probably one of the deepest videos I’ve ever done. Its all about love and love being like a drug… you definitely get that from this. The good feeling of it and the dangers of it. That’s what this video is about.”

Earlier this week, the risqué superstar appeared on The X Factor US, to accompany her “maker” L.A. Reid at his Hamptons home as a guest judge. Other celebrity judges were Pharrell Williams, who assisted Paula Abdul at her Santa Barbara home, and Enrique Iglesias, who was paired with Nicole Scherzinger in Malibu. Elsewhere in Rihanna news, lyrical rapper Royce da 5’9” created a Twitter frenzy with his infamous line,” Hi Rihanna,” said during his Shady 2.0 cypher broadcasted during the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards.
“Hi Rihanna, is Nicki living with you? Let me know so I can buy binoculars and telescopes. Hi Rihanna, I don’t need to know you better. You tell me you love my music again, we go together. Bye Rihanna.”
With virality comes explanation. Royce appeared on BET’s 106 & Park to explain the now infamous name-drop.
“I seen her overseas. Me and Em [Eminem] were performing at the V Festival and she was coming out to perform with us and she seen me and she came up to me. I’m just a Detroit guy. Like, everybody treat me like I’m famous now but I still feel regular. So she came up to me and told me that she likes one of my songs. So I just feel like if you tell me that again, we go together. Has to happen.”
Since, the 23-year-old has returned the love to the Detroit rapper with a simple, “Hi @Royceda59.”
