Reclusive alt-R&B singer Frank Ocean is infamous for his cryptic tweets. However, in the middle of last night, the Grammy frontrunner was more than clear about his unfortunate situation with his estranged father.

Ocean tweets, “Father wanna sue me for a million. Like I owe him back child support. Weak individual bought me a swiss knife at 6yrs old then dipped on me.”

Frank deleted the tweet soon after, and posted: “I got his DNA though, maybe I inherited some of his karma too.”

NME notes that this isn’t Frank’s first time mentioning his father on Twitter. Back in June, weeks before his acclaimed debut album dropped, Frank tweeted: “Just found out my absent father’s been cyberstalking me, hi dad”.
