Nas Inks A Deal To Pen Memoir

In the name of higher learning, some of our favorite emcees are now penning novels and memoirs. The lastest to join the bubbling trend is Hip-Hop vet, Nas, who just inked a deal with HarperCollins and is partnering up with Rolling Stone’s, Touré, to write his first memoir.
Titled, It Ain’t Hard To Tell, the story is likely to mirror the emcee’s music rival, Jay-Z’s 2010 Decoded. Touré opened about the project via Twitter…
“I’ve been talking to Nas about writing his autobiography for 15 years,” Touré says. “This is hip-hop history. We’ll tell his life and deconstruct some songs.”
Look out for the book when it hits stores in Fall 2012.
