T-Pain is milking this auto-tune thing for all it is worth. The Tallahassee entertainer popularized the obvious use of auto-tune late last decade when he hit the scene with the summer jam, “I’m Sprung”, in 2005. The 26-year old who is celebrating his birthday today has another reason to toast now that his I Am T-Pain toy microphone is in stores, following his 2009 iPhone app of the same name.

Diddy Publishing An Art Book On……Booty
As cliché as it sounds for a Hip-Hop artist to endorse anything related to the back end of a woman, Diddy discovers a way to make it artistic. The music mogul is teaming up with photographer Raphael Mazzucco and Jimmy Lovine for 248-pages of Culo-Italian for “buttocks” and also the name of the image-filled composition.
The site explains that “Culo” is “an art, fashion and pop culture movement. No matter if you were raised to call it derriere, tush, rear end, or booty, culo is the new epicenter of female sexuality, desire and empowerment.”
“Fashion needs fewer women who look like boys and more women with some ‘Boom Boom Pow,’” Lovine adds.
Head to the website for a video preview of the book’s images. Join in on the appreciation when the book is released on November 22 for $65.
We Remember 9/11.
On September 11, 2001, hearts were shattered and tears pierced the cheeks of American faces, as we witnessed the devastation of terrorist attacks that turned the American dream into a nightmare. Roughly 2,800 lost their lives in the tragedy, clouding our blue skies. Ten years later, as we try to ease our nation’s pain instead of forgetting our past, we remember…with a Tribute In Light.
A team of 30 lighting specialists have been working around the clock to ensure the art installation is ready for tomorrow, when it will be switched on from dusk until dawn. Shooting high into the night, the Twin Towers rise above New York again as sparkling pillars of light, organized by the Municipal Art Society. The memorial is set in the footprints of the original twin towers among a small forest of oak trees in an eight-acre plaza.

When explaining the design, Pharrell says:
“Since I was a little boy my wonderous curiosities were based on fictional things that television offered. My mind was crammed pack with creatures fit for a child that were often funny, designed for youth, and usually a profitable franchise like cartoons. Even still, I couldn’t stop thinking about angels.”
Rap-Up says the handmade artwork was a collaborative effort with Berengo Studio. It consists of two angel skeltons - one hovering at over 6-feet tall with a smaller one flying behind it.
