2 Chainz and Kanye West were spotted in Yonkers, New York, filming the video for Tity Boi’s latest single, “Birthday Song.” It will appear on his forthcoming debut album, Based On A T.R.U. Story (Aug. 14). A fan-captured video has surfaced showing screaming fans flocking to Mr. West as he exits the set.

Joss Stone Sings Sugary Tune On GMA
Joss Stone paraded on Good Morning America, barefoot and not pregnant, to singer her cover of Honey Cone’s ’69 song, “While You’re Out Looking For Sugar.” The sugary tune will appear on Stone’s compilation of covers, The Soul Sessions Vol. 2. As ever, she delivered an enjoyable performance. She also performed Broken Bells’ “The High Road” with Ernie Isley on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Watch both performances below.

Melanie Amaro Preps Release Of Debut Single ‘Don’t Fail Me Now’
Melanie Amaro earned a record deal with Epic Records worth a lofty $5 million after winning season 1 of X Factor US. Since winning, she scored a Pepsi commercial that played during halftime of the SuperBowl and received a “promise ring” from her boyfriend. There haven’t been many details regarding new music or her album, until now.
The Caribbean soulstress has announced (via Twitter) that her debut single, “Don’t Fail Me Now,” will premiere later on today. The promotion strategy is quite odd, considering the $5 million elephant in the room. Hopefully the ‘Fail’ doesn’t fail to create some buzz for Mel.

Pink ‘Blow Me (One Last Kiss)’ [Video]
Pink frequently displays a scorned soul both in her music and in her videos. That formula remains constant in her video for “Blow Me (One Last Kiss).” Dave Meyers captures the truth about love in the black-and-white visual, which seemingly pays homage to French cinema. If the dreamy-like effects aren’t convincing enough, I’m sure you noticed the foreign language.
At the start of the video, the bad girl of pop sips wine in a field with her beaux. Things quickly goes wrong when he decides to answer a phone call during their date. She takes a long walk and meet up with a motorcycle-riding casanova. He takes her to his lovely abode, where she gazes out a window while he paints her. A group of ballroom dancers captures her attention, and she decides to dance with one of the ladies.

Jay-Z Announced As Executive Producer For ‘NBA 2K13’
Jay-Z is the epitome of a businessman. He has conquered nearly every avenue of entertainment. The minority owner of the Brooklyn Nets has partnered with 2K Sports to serv as the executive producer for the latest installation of their popular video game franchise, “NBA 2K13.”
“This has been a unique opportunity to collaborate with 2K Sports and be a part of one of the best sports video games in history,” Jay-Z said. “NBA 2K13 will be the next evolution in sports and basketball culture, and I’m ready to usher in the new era of the franchise.”
Some songs included on the game’s soundtrack are Jay’s “Public Service Announcement,” Kanye West’s “Amazing” and Nas’ ”The World is Yours.” The game will go on sale on October 2nd.

Nicki Minaj Shines In Adidas Originals Commercial [Video]
Earlier this year, brand queen Nicki Minaj filmed a commercial for Jeremy Scott’s Adidas line in Brooklyn. Finally, the ad in support of his Fall/Winter 2012 collection has surfaced. Nicki’s “Dance A$$” partner, Big Sean, also appears in the video.
