The fifth annual BET Honors celebrated the accomplishments of Maya Angelou, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Spike Lee, the Tuskegee Airmen and Beverly Kearney. Gabrielle Union hosted the event, which will broadcast on February 13.

Acclaimed entertainers radiated on the red carpet: Kelly Rowland, Common, Jill Scott, Ledisi, Luke James and Willow Smith were among the stars that lit up the red carpet. Jennifer Hudson, Patti Labelle, India Arie, Anthony Hamilton, Queen Latifah graced the stage to introduce or pay homage to the honorees.

-First Lady Michelle Obama paid tribute to Maya Angelou.

-Aretha Franklin performed for Stevie.
-Ledisi performed “Higher Ground” and “Do I Do.”
-Red Tails actors Terrence Howard & Cuba Gooding, Jr introduced The Tuskegee Airmen.
-Jennifer Hudson performed “Think Like A Man.”
-Common & Anthony Hamilton performed “The Believer.”
-Luke James performed “I Want You.”
-Stevie performed “Living For the City,” a song featured on Spike Lee’s Jungle Fever.
-Kelly Rowland and Raekwon performed Mariah Carey’s “Fantasy.”
