The Voice will undergo a slight shakeup next season. Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera will take time off from their juding duties to focus on various projects. Cee Lo is working on new music along with an NBC comedy about his life; Christina is releasing her Lotus LP this Fall, followed by a tour.

Shakira and Usher will fill Green and Aguilera’s void, but only for Season 4. The mentors will return for Season 5, and hopefully mentor a champion for the first time. Season 4 of The Voice will likely premiere in early 2013.
