Co-written by herself and Cassius Dekalb and produced by Needlz, “Fall In Love Again” finds Karina Pasian emotionally raw and longing for love. The track is laced with piano, foot-tapping percussion and anthemic synths.
Pasian has been mostly silent for the latter half of the year, after re-releasing an EP, Trips To Venus, this past Valentines Day. ‘Love Again’ will appear on the sequel to the critically-welcomed set. Read More
Karina Pasian‘s utopian society consists of lounging around in yesterday’s clothes and enjoying the moment. New York songbird, Karina Pasian, is preparing the re-release of her latest EP, Trips To Venus, and stops by AOL’s The Boombox to dish out details of the set, which includes a cover of a Minnie Ripperton classic.
Pasian on naming the EP…
“I literally just had a list of titles that I was brainstorming and that was one of them. I just thought, all the songs are love-based and Venus has to do with love and beauty and stuff. I don’t know where it came from, I just wrote down the title on the list, and that one just stuck out to me.”
Karina Pasian recounts the complexity of life, not having all she desires and her subsequent contentment in her newly-released song, “It’s Whatever“. The track is produced by Needlz and written by Grammy-winning songwriter, Cassius D. Kalb, who both are credited for Bruno Mars’ “Just The Way You Are”.
Needless to say, the track’s direction takes a page out of “The Lazy Song”, a cut of Mars’ as well. Pasian is readying the release of Part Two to her Trips To Venus EP.

Days ago, we posted Karina Pasian’s latest song, “I Love You So,” a cover of The Throne and Mr. Hudson’s “Why I Love You.” The radiant and mature singer follows with the release of a soulful rendition of “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting…).” Allow Karina to motivate your holiday spirit below… Read More
Many were introduced to Karina Pasian 3 years ago, following her debut single “16 @ War.” The Washington Heights native was a child prodigy; she began playing piano at the tender age of three and can sing in seven languages. Excelling musically, boasting an old-school sound and penning conscious songs at such a young age, listeners inevitably associated Karina with Alicia Keys.
Since the release of her Def Jam debut - First Love, Karina has seemingly disappeared from the music scene. Unreleased tracks and remake of Brandy’s “Brokenhearted” have surfaced, but information regarding official material has been vague.
The now 20-year-old has reinvented her image and plans on making a return with new EP, Trips To Venus, which will be available on December 13th. “I Love You So” is the first song lifted from the EP, and it’s a remix of The Throne’s “Why I Love You,” featuring Mr. Hudson. It’s quite risqué compared to other music I’m familiar with by Karina.

Aye what you doing hanging out all night for
You’re such an asshole, boy you make me sick
But when u give it to me good
It’s like the perfect fix” Read More
