Yesterday, Robin Thicke premiered the video for the Lil’ Wayne-assisted “Pretty Lil’ Heart” on BET’s 106 & Park. The song tells the tale of a man battling temptation and attraction while being in a committed relationship. It sounds quite introspective coming from Mr. Paula Patton.
Until the video is officially released, the R&B crooner takes us behind-the-scenes of the cinematic visual where he explains the concept and recreating the classic scene in James Dean’s Rebel Without A Cause.
“I just wanted to do something that brewed temptation and sensuality and sexuality, and left the audience wondering what happens next,” explained Thicke. “Something that I feel sometimes, even though I want to be noticed and want to be appreciated, I still feel so small in this enormous universe, that I’m still just a monkey playing the cymbal.”
