Rick claims the Drummer Boyz double-crossed him in November 2010 – pitching the SAME beat to Lil Wayne … and Weezy acquired it in exchange for a 35% royalty agreement, eventually using the beat on “How to Love.” Read More

Similar to Lady Gaga‘s former videos, if your mind isn’t on planet Monster, the concept of “Yoü and I” may go over your head.
In the video, Gaga takes on many roles. At the expense of her mad scientist lover, she’s turned into a mystical mermaid called Yuyi. As the video progresses, Yuyi presumably have sex with the scientist. This sparks the question, is it possible for a man to sex a mermaid?
“Well, that’s actually part of what the metaphor is — you can’t.” She went on to explain that particular scene, “sometimes in love, you can’t make it work. No matter what you do, there’s this giant boundary between you and someone else. So that’s what it’s about, perceiving in your imagination that there’s something magical inside of you that you can make it work.”
The ever-creative Gaga Lady went on to explain the complexity of the video.
“For me, it was all about capturing the true spirit of the song, which is when you’re in love, you’ll be willing to walk and do the craziest and most inconvenient things you can possibly imagine,” she added. “The video is quite complex in the way that the story is told, and it’s meant to be slightly linear and slightly twisted and confusing, which is the way that love is.” Read More
