New Music: Melanie Fiona – “Wrong Side Of A Love Song”

Last month, Melanie Fiona gave an impressive rendition of “Wrong Side of a Love Song” at the UNICEF Ball. Boasting an old-school production, soaring vocals and emotional lyrics, the ballad is sure to be a standout on Fiona’s oft-delayed sophomore album, The MF Life.

Mel and co. have yet to confirm whether or not ‘Wrong Side’ is a single; however, her manager reveals The MF Life is due out on May 8.

Recently, Sirius XM’s The Heat debuted the studio-quality version of the passionate tune. Listen below…

Considering the Grammy-nominated chanteuse consistently offers quality music, including “Gone and Never Coming Back,” “4 AM” and the most recent, “Wrong Side of a Love Song,” her talent should not go unnoticed. Here’s to 2012 being the year of the Melanie Fiona life.
