Unbeknownst to many, hip-hop’s biggest acts, Jay-Z and Lil’ Wayne, have an ongoing feud between each other – well, the younger Carter has a problem with the older one.
Last night, Wayne and his bootlicking cohorts, all of which weren’t invited to Clive Davis’ Grammy party, held their own Grammy party at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. Joined on stage by YMCMB affiliates Drake, Tyga, Birdman, Busta Rhymes, Mystikal, Shanelle, DJ Khaled and Corey Gunz, Wayne announced Young Money’s latest signee, Christina Milian, and took shots at Jay-Z and Kanye West.
“I met a red-bone, I took a bitch home. I asked her what she wanna watch, she said, ‘sho not The Throne‘,” he said before sashaying off the stage.
Obviously Little Wayne is still bitter about Jay-Z revealing his wife’s finances exceed that of his collective. So, what is a thirsty, overrated rapper to do? Continue jabbing at his superiors until they pay him some attention.
Birdman heavily applauding after Wayne introducing Drake as “the most handsome m*therf*cker in the game” is why The Throne reigns supreme, and no one takes Young Money seriously (and never will).
And Christina Milian, take a look at the roster you’ve joined; majority of the acts’ albums haven’t seen the light of day. Milian, 30, has a history of ‘using what she got to get what she want’. Mixing business with pleasure is no shame of hers, so expect rumors and speculation to emerge soon enough.
