Kid Cudi Is Still Ranting About His Unsupportive Label

Kid Cudi has a deep appreciation for himself and his craft. Apparently he wants to release alt-Hip Hop songs and still enjoy the success of a rapper that releases radio-friendly songs. Like several rants before, he took to Twitter to vent about the inverse relationship between his song’s online play-count and radio spins. “King Wizard” even threatened his label that “there’s gonna be some problems” if some form of action isn’t taken.

King Wizard 3.4 million views on Vevo, Just What I Am has 4.3 million and my shit is not on regular rotation on radio. Hmmm.

Trinidad James got 4.1 million views on his hit (rightfully so), and I hear that jam EVERYWHERE. Wheres my fuckin spins???

Im talkin numbers. Im talkin stats.

To my label, I swear to all that is fuckin holy in this world, if things dont change soon, theres gonna be some problems

I worked too hard on all this shit. Producing, writing, directing AND executing the shit proper. I did my part, I put in work. Wtf

Yall kno I cuts no slack. Not w my music. Every song is my life. A piece of my fuckin tormented soul. It matters to me. I give a fuck

CuDi shares a label with Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Wayne. Someone should enlighten him that he isn’t their priority or main source of revenue. Regardless of his place on the totem pole, I hope everything works out in his favor. Indicud is shaping up to be one of the better releases of 2013. It would be unfortunate if the LP was shelved.

Love you Kid. You need to get your fans moving to request your songs on radio. King Wizard is dope! That is all.
