    Christina Aguilera will present her “heartfelt, multi-layered” Lotus album on November 13th. Seventeen songs are included on the deluxe version of the LP. Xtina’s fellow The Voice mentors, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton, are the only guest features. Alex da Kid, Max Martin and Candice Pillay molded the sound.

    Stirring up controversy is typical behavior from Chris Brown.

    Chris and his clique deemed it appropriate to dress like the Taliban for Halloween. More accurately, they wore beards and Arabian garbs while toting assault rifles and other weapons (things Americans have linked to the Taliban and terrorism).     Ice Cube is set to star in a Tim Story-directed action comedy titled Ride Along. Story is responsible for Barbershop, the Fantastic Four series and Think Like A Man. Other notable stars in the film are Kevin Hart, John Leguizamo, Tika Sumpter and Jay Pharoah.

    Hollywood Reporter reports the film is like a comedic Training Day. The story centers on a risk-averse second-grade teacher plans on marrying the girl of his dreams but first must accompany his overprotective future brother-in-law, a tough cop, on a ride-along from hell. Read More

    Taylor Swift’s ‘RED’ Sells 1.2 Million Copies In One Week

    Taylor Swift’s latest album, RED, has been out a little over a week, and it has already made major sales records. Billboard reports that RED moved over 1.2 million units in its first week, which is the most any album has sold in a single week since Eminem’s The Eminem Show (2002). In just one week, it’s the third-best selling album of 2012 (behind Adele’s 21 and One Directions Up All Night) and best selling country album of 2012 (topped Lionel Richie’s Tuskegee).

    Taylor is the only female artist to have two million-selling weeks; her first was 2010’s Speak Now (2010). She is the third country female artist to have three No. 1 albums. Read More
