Melanie Amaro earned a record deal with Epic Records worth a lofty $5 million after winning season 1 of X Factor US. Since winning, she scored a Pepsi commercial that played during halftime of the SuperBowl and received a “promise ring” from her boyfriend. There haven’t been many details regarding new music or her album, until now.
The Caribbean soulstress has announced (via Twitter) that her debut single, “Don’t Fail Me Now,” will premiere later on today. The promotion strategy is quite odd, considering the $5 million elephant in the room. Hopefully the ‘Fail’ doesn’t fail to create some buzz for Mel.
