Since the launch of his (rap) career, Drake has pranced around as if he sang with the subtle greatness displayed by Marvin Gaye and rapped with emotional conviction displayed by 2Pac. Now, he’s blatantly disrespecting the Lauryn Hills, LL Cool Js, André 3000s, Missy Elliots and Queen Latifahs (the legends) of music.
In a recent interview with The Jewish Chronicle, the Canadian Jew said “There were people who incorporated melody before me, but I would deem myself the first person to successfully rap and sing.”
There is seriously something tainted in the water over at YMCMB headquarters. Confidently announcing reckless statements like this is why no one takes any of them seriously.
