“I believe that marriage isn’t between a man and woman but between love and love.” – “We All Try”
From now on, Independence Day has an entire new meaning for Frank Ocean. The “I Miss You” singer revealed in a lengthy letter that his first love was indeed with a man. Not only did the letter announce his sexuality, but ended the overwhelming amount of rumors surrounding the R&B crooner as of late.
As you may know, Frank is one part of a large collective known as Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All. Their leader, Tyler, the Creator, is everything but sensitive to stigmas plaguing the world. On his Goblin album, the controversial rapper said “faggot” 213 times. Though he loosely uses that slur (among others), he claims to not be homophobic.
Unlike Frank (who used Tumblr), Tyler took to Twitter to speak on Ocean’s “coming out.”
