Don’t you hate when dull music happens to interesting people? This seems to be a trend among R&B Divas. Ashanti, Monica and even Mariah Carey have failed to produce records that give listeners an incentive to care. The material itself isn’t necessarily bad; it just doesn’t showcase any musical growth.
In Keyshia Cole’s case, she has retracted to her former self–musically and conceptually–on “Enough of No Love.” From the coarse riff to the soaring strings, ‘Enough’ can comfortably rest on Keysh’s past efforts. Undeniably, relating to the scorned women of the world is how she found success, but will she ever add a universal appeal to her music? Will she ever exit her comfort zone and push the envelope?
Like most recent R&B releases, ‘Enough’ recruits the help of a rapper, Lil’ Wayne, to gain airplay on the urban charts.

“Enough of No Love” is lifted from Keyshia’s forthcoming album, Woman to Woman, whose release is sure to coincide with her new BET reality show.
