Life is quite good for Nas. The ill emcee played Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend to perform a set of hits from his acclaimed catalog. “Daughters” was among the songs the New Yorker performed for the London crowd.
Just when I thought Rihanna was improving with her live showings, she gives a winded and cluttered rendition of “We Found Love” and “Cockiness” at Hackney. The party girl captured the attention of the large crowd with an elaborate Egyptian set, accentuated by a jacket embezzled with gold pendants that will surely have the illuminati conspirators spending hours on end doing research.
There was a shining moment for the Roc star–during her 17-song set–part two of Eminem’s smash, “Love the Way You Lie.” She also brought out her Brooklyn Nets hat-wearing boss, Jay-Z, for “Run This Town,” “Umbrella” and “Talk That Talk.”
Backed by lovely strings and the entire audience, Lana Del Rey hypnotized with her haunting tune, “Video Games.” The lady in red connected with the humbling audience for the entire set. She also performed fan-favorites, “Blue Jeans,” “Born To Die” and “National Anthem.”
