Beyoncé isn’t the only pop titan lending her vocals to an animated film; Rihanna has been tapped for Happy Smekday, the film-adaptation of Adam Rex’s The True Meaning of Smekday.
MTV reports, Happy Smekday follows an alien race who come to Earth to hide away from their enemies. When one of the aliens accidentally spills the beans about their hideout to the bad guys, he must go on the run with a teenage girl. The twosome then goes on a road trip through a dystopian America, learning about humanity along the way.
According to Hollywood Reporter, ‘Smekday’ will hit theaters during the fourth quarter of 2014.
Rih will appear in Seth Rogen’s End of the World. She is surely building her Hollywood portfolio.
