Remember Rachel Crow? The former X Factor US hopeful that covered Etta James effortlessly? Maybe you remember her dramatic exit?
Well, the 14-year-old singer co-wrote a song regarding overcoming social pressures. With high spirits, she sings about ‘combing mean girls out of her curls’ and embracing her individuality. It’s set to appear on Rachel’s self-titled EP, due out on June 26 via Columbia Records.
“I really want ["Mean Girls"] to not only inspire kids who have been bullied, but I also hope to inspire the kids that do the bullying to stop that behavior,” says Crow.
