T.I. has struggled reigniting the flame he had prior to his incarceration. It started with the medicore buzz track, “I’m Flexin’,” followed by a decent mixtape, F*ck Da City Up, which was overshadowed by Rick Ross’ well-received mixtape. “Love This Life,” the lead single from Trouble Man, was easily forgettable and has yet to be assisted by a visual.
Now he has released “Like That,” which is a weak single as well. Trouble Man arrives on September 4th, a day after the season 2 premiere of T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle. Hopefully Tip proves why he’s considered the “King of the South” before it’s released.
Ne-Yo reminisces on sex that makes him idle on “Lazy Love.” The R&B number is slower than nearly everything on the radio, but it’s great nevertheless. It serves as the lead single from Ne-Yo’s The R.E.D. Album, not to be confused with The Game’s.
The acronym means “Realizing Every Dream,” and the “Miss Independent” singer is unbothered by the backlash from the ‘title biting’. The album is due out on September 18.
