If the only song by Game that you can recall is “Hate It Or Love It,” you’re probably wondering: “Why does The Game’s response matters?” Perhaps you aren’t aware that he dropped the “The” from his name either, but that’s neither here nor there.
Ne-Yo has announced his upcoming album will be titled, The R.E.D. Album, rather than The Cracks In Mr. Perfect. It caused many music enthusiasts to raise their brows, considering Game released an album with the same name just last year.
In an interview with XXL, the Compton native gave a shocking response to Ne-Yo’s decision.
“I don’t know what that’s about, but I’ve always known Ne-Yo to be a cool dude, so I’m pretty sure he got his reasoning. More power to the lil’ homie.”
It’s shocking because it’s sensible. One would expect Game to erupt with a reckless reaction.
