Adele Confirmed As 2012 Grammy Awards Performer

After weeks of speculation and a successful vocal surgery, Adele has been confirmed by her label as performer at this year’s Grammy Awards. The English songbird will join Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Coldplay and a rumored Chris Brown in bringing live entertainment to music’s big night.

Adele is vying for six awards, including “Album Of The Year” for 21. She tweeted her excitement…

“Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It’s been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can’t wait, speak soon xx”

 

Ciara Co-Hosts The Insider & Co-Stars In New Film With Adam Sandler

It’s looking like an epic year is ahead for singer, Ciara, as she readies a film role in Adam Sandler’s Donny’s Boy That’s My Boy, in addition to her highly-anticipated fifth studio album. The entertainer, who played several sports as a teen, took to the Superbowl field for Media Day to co-host The Insider with Kevin Frazier and to promote the forthcoming film.

Produced by Columbia Pictures, the film stars Sandler and Leighton Meester and follows the story of a father who moves in with his son and gets into some serious predicaments with his new daughter-in-law. Ciara will play “Brie” in the comedy, alongside Todd Bridges, Susan Sarandon, James Caan and Vanilla Ice, due in theaters on June 15.

Future Nabs R. Kelly & Snoop Dogg For Debut Album, ‘Pluto’

Upcoming Atlanta-based rapper, Future, stopped by BET’s 106 & Park and dished out details on his oft-delayed debut album, Pluto. After explaining the meaning behind the album’s title, the “Magic” man revealed that R.Kelly and Snoop Dogg will lend their talents to the LP.

Future on working with R. Kelly…

“He’s a genius when it comes to that R&B,” He exclaims.

Snoop Dogg will assist on a track titled, “Homocide”. We’ll wait to hear that one before passing judgement. Look below to know Future’s dream collaboration and the release date for the anticipated album.
