An army of teenage girls may already follow Nicki Minaj, but BET will not perpetuate her popularity. Debra Lee and co. have chosen to restrict her latest solo video, “Stupid Hoe,” from being aired on the BET network.
TMZ reports, a BET rep says the video is simply too explicit for TV. Considering the fact that a “hoe” is a garden tool and not a promiscuous person, one can assume BET did not ban the video due to its lyrics. Maybe it was the bare mannequin or the bizarre tongue action or the stiff twerking.
