As of late, Odd Future leader Tyler, the Creator has been the center of all things negative. Yesterday (May 10), the vile rapper was arrested in Los Angeles during a promotional appearance at Westchester High School.
“Yonkers,” the 20-year-old’s breakout song, took jabs at some prominent figures. One line was targeted at platinum-selling artists B.o.B and Bruno Mars:
I’ll crash that f-ckin’ airplane that faggot n-gga B.o.B is in,
And stab Bruno Mars in his goddamn esophagus
We’ve heard what B.o.B had to say, but we haven’t heard much from the Hawaiian crooner. While backstage at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom, Spin caught up with the Grammy winner to get his take on Tyler’s diss.
“[Tyler] has to wait in line if he wants to stab me,” he said. “[Tyler's] definitely not the first guy that’s said something like that to me and he’s not going to be the last.”
He concluded the interview with:
“You pick up some fans and a handful of haters along the way.”
