Cory Gunz premiered his new reality show Son of a Gun Thursday night. In case you didn’t know, media mogul Nick Cannon is producing the show.
In the episode, Cory is torn between signing with Lil’ Wayne’s imprint, Young Money Entertainment (via Cash Money/Universal Records) and Atlantic Records, with the help of Nick Cannon. As we know, he signed with Young Money – but watch the episode to see how he improperly handles business. Nick obviously understands the “it’s not personal, it’s just business” quote – had I been in Nick’s seat, I wouldn’t have offered Cory any type of further assistance. (Personally, I don’t like how you do business.)
After meeting with Nick and discussing his signing with Young Money, Cory is again torn between selecting a manager – Nick Cannon or his lawyer Ed Woods.
Lastly, shout-out to Peter Gunz – a true definition of a father.
