Indie Spotlight: Chavz

Chavz

Chavz enters into the contact sport of Hip-Hop well equipped with an eclectic insight of how he writes; stemming from his Sunset Park, Brooklyn-breeding grounds, all the way to his pure Dominican Republic descent. He pulls inspiration from first hand stints of homelessness and overcoming the plague of the short lived street life, which continues to haunt our urban youth. Chavz’ story is more than a mere rags to riches story, and track-by-track, you quickly become invited into the depths of his world.

“It is a sad time for me right now. I am experiencing a tremendous loss but I vow to celebrate her life in every way that I can with my entire family, including my fiancé Alicia, and my children Bobbi Kristina, LaPrincia, Bobby Jr and Cassius”

What better way to commemorate a private homegoing than by creepily recording Whitney Houston and New Edition on your phone? Do better people.
